Prior to the kick off of the MHA Good As Gold sale, the Manitoba Hereford Association honored siblings Kara & Chad Thompson of Twin Creek Farm as 2023 Commercial Breeder of the Year. Presentation was made by MHA president Jay Rimke and MHA Director Steven Manns.
A 50 Year Membership pin was awarded to Martin Chobotar of Border Meadows Farm - Sundown, MB. Presentation was made by CHA Director, Janelle Gulka prior to the MHA Good As Gold sale in Brandon, MB.

RSK Farms, of Brandon, MB was recognized at Western Canadian Agribition with the 2023 Herdsman Award. Congratulations to RSK Farms for receiving this prestigious award.

The 2022 Honor Roll plaque presentation was given to Don & Diane Guilford of Clearwater, MB. Their award was acknowledged during the 2023 Western National Hereford show in Brandon, MB. The plaque was presented by Albert Rimke & CHA Executive Director, Michael Latimer.
Congratulations to Rae & Stephanie Kopeechuk of RSK Farms on their induction to the Canadian Hereford Association Honor Roll. Presentation of their plaque was awarded by CHA Executive Director Michael Latimer during the 2023 Western National Hereford Show in Brandon, MB.
RSK Farms earned top honors as Premier Breeder & Premier Exhibitor at the Manitoba Hereford Field Day held at Twin View Polled Herefords in Strathclair MB. They also swept the bull category with Grand Champion Bull RSK SCK 207H New Noise ET 42L and RSK 5511 Resolute ET 51L as Reserve Champion. Grand Champion Female went to Blair Athol with Blair-Athol Sassy 145J (owned with Anita Doktor) & Reserve Champion Female was Lone Pine Cattle services with XLP SF Jazzy ET 61K.
50 Year Membership Pins were presented to J.A.Cruise (Jack) of Lundar, MB & Bob Truthwaite of Hodgson, MB. Pins were presented at the Lundar Bull Sale by CHA Director, Janelle Gulka. These awards acknowledge 50 years of service to the Hereford breed and membership to the Canadian Hereford Association.
